Anyone notice when you are driving towards the sun it appears on your nav screen? When I turn away from the sun it drifts off the screen in the direction the sun moves.

Kinda useless, but kinda neat too.

Heh I thought from the title this would be a complaint about the sun making it hard to view the screen. (A problem I have with the aftermarket system in my Yaris)

hehe, that too. The nav stinks and there's a lot of glare. I've just never seen this on a nav before.

Im willing to bet you can get some sort of screen / shade that you could apply to the screen. Similar to those sheilds that hang off the monitors on the flat screen computer moniters that elimnate glare.........Off to google i go...

edit: quick google search rendered a few companies that produce glare shields (similiar to iphone ipad sheilds) Im willing to bet you could buy one for the ipad and cut it to fit the navi screen.

It's most noticeable in the morning/evening.
