Ordered the apr carbon fiber mirrors off of ft86speedfactory and they are supposed to come in tonight. Problem is i have no idea of how to install them. tried searching for instructions on the forums but cant find any. guess the mirrors arent that popular :P but i still think they look good. anyone know of how id go about removing the old mirrors?im guessing that id have to remove the door panels... but i still have no idea on how to do that too :P sorry for being such a noob guys

Did you get them installed? Pictures? Thinking of adding these to my car, I like them.

i have them and will be installing them soon once my frs returned from the body shop with body kit, it is a rather "simple" depending on skill and comfort level install. ill be sure to document and post a write up but real quickly you open the doors remove the plastic pop rivets take off the interior door panels disconnect the mirror and unsrew it from the door and then swap in the new mirrors lock them in the position you want and put the door panel back on done deal. shouldnt take but maybe 15-45 minutes a door vased on skill and comfort level

Install should be super easy. They do use the factory holes, right?

yah but you cant get to the rear view mirror without removing the small triangle glass next to the window. and those have two bolts in them but it also looks like its attached to the window lowering mechanism (dont know what its called). im having trouble getting the glass off.
