Cheap, easy brake mod!
Got these high temp vinyl stickers off ebay for about 10 shipped.

You can get them in basically any colour. Way easier and cheaper than painting the calipers, or for that matter, a big brake kit.

The rotors are likely made of a cadmium alloyed steel. They look great new but after a year in Ottawa they will probably be quite noticably oxidized.
I would have suggested painting the calipers before the decals to make it last longer, but for $10 what the heck!

Oh ya I figured as much... But ya 10$ and it looks good for now IMO... Next spring I'll paint the calipers red and get black stickers.
The winter will definitely make the calipers dirty and oxidized, hense painting after the winter. The fronts do appear to be painted silver though. |
