Mine weren't installed either. My friend put them in for me after he found them. He said the same thing. Keeps stuff out of the frame.

Put mine in yesterday, a day after getting my FRS. Found out about them on here. Still got grease all over my hands.

Feel/look under your car right in front of the rear wheels on each side. It should be obvious if you know where to look.

I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure if they weren't installed they would be in your glove box where they were stored before the PDI. They were most likely installed if you didn't find them in there. Though a picture might still be good for other people that need the location.

Less helpful, but interesting, the friend that put mine in for me found their location instantly. Someone else mentioned he got grease on his hands after only a day. I made a comment about the car supposedly being clean for only being a couple days old when my friend put them in, but he also got grease on his hands. Guess the purpose they serve is actually pretty important if it gets dirty down there that fast.
