White spots on trim & rubber.

Car was opti-coated 2.0 late August.

It's been raining here in Vancouver like crazy for the last month so today I decided to wash the car & there are these white spots I can't seem to wash out. There's a lot of construction work going around the city so the car was alway wet from rain to notice it but I'm wondering if it's chemicals from driving through those construction zones or a by product of opti-coat being applied.

Any idea as to what it is & what kind of product I could use to get it out?

As far as the plastic by the windshield, mine seems normal. But the other piece on the roof, mine probably looks worse. It's pretty faded, kinda feel it got that way after it got waxed.
To answer your question though, maybe something like that product on tv that's suppose to make plastic trim look like new.

I have the same spots on mine (opticoated too) and just washed my car today. The spots didn't come out entirely from the wash, but i went to use some glass cleaner for my windshield after it was dry and some of the glass cleaner got on the spots and they wiped off...

Mineral deposits, mix up vinegar and water at a 50/50 ratio, spray on and let dwell about a minute. Wipe off with a microfiber towel.

Your gonna have to step up the acidic then. Get Heinz cleaning vinegar, it's less watered down, use it straight no dilution.
