Lithium Ion Battery

Havent seen anything about this posted yet. I know there are some light weight batteries out there but I have heard things about them not being able start as well during cold or hold the same amount of power as a standard battery.

I was reading autoblog about the new SLS AMG Black, (article here: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/11/09/m...-black-series/) One of the things they used to drop the weight on this car was switching to a lithium ion battery. They say it is the first time this has been done in a non hybrid application but I know there is a lot of people in the aftermarket who do some pretty crazy stuff. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this being done and if you guys think this would be a good idea for the twins?

Im thinking this may be a good way to drop a significant amount of weight while maintaining a strong battery. (honestly not sure if these batteries are even better than other lightweights, dont know a lot about lithium ions other than my laptop has one.)
