It is an electronic throttle kit 70Φ. Is the inner diameter of genuine respect 70Φ 65Φ. Can be mounted on the bolt, so I also optimized for 86/BRZ throttle body, it is available in both normal ECU · tuned ECU. Because the products are not genuine processing, eliminating the need for trade-in. ※ suction pipe there may be other third-party, not with the combination. ※ adapter is anodized red. Tax-included price : ¥ 52,500 Carbon air cleaner suction kit Tax-included price : 168,000 yen Last edited by ANREX; 11-01-2012 at 04:15 PM. |

I'd love to see some independent graphs of these parts. I've wondered about a throttle body spacer several times but don't have access to a lathe anymore. And that intake looks like it migh have a chance of being more efficient.

Throttle body spacer? What exactly is that supposed to do on a port/direct injected engine?

The only thing it could do is increase plenum volume. There's a lot of theories on how to size the plenum to get maximum performance but I'm hypothesizing that a larger plenum would help top end power without adversely effecting power anywhere else. It could possibly help power everywhere. There might be a decrease in throttle response though as engine power doesn't change until the air pressure in the plenum changes. It's all give and take. Honestly I doubt a change in volume as small as a throttle spacer would be noticeable, but I'd love to see the research to find out.
