I'd love to see some independent graphs of these parts. I've wondered about a throttle body spacer several times but don't have access to a lathe anymore. And that intake looks like it migh have a chance of being more efficient.

The only thing it could do is increase plenum volume. There's a lot of theories on how to size the plenum to get maximum performance but I'm hypothesizing that a larger plenum would help top end power without adversely effecting power anywhere else. It could possibly help power everywhere. There might be a decrease in throttle response though as engine power doesn't change until the air pressure in the plenum changes. It's all give and take. Honestly I doubt a change in volume as small as a throttle spacer would be noticeable, but I'd love to see the research to find out.
