Hey guys, I ran into a fellow Portland FR-S owner named Ryan yesterday and he is selling a brand new, fitted-but-never-used car cover for the FR-S/BRZ for $50. If anyone is interested you can check out the CL ad here:

EDIT: SOLD

Damn. Just touched base with Ryan about posting this for him and he was hit by a woman pretty bad on his way to work this morning. No broken bones, but he is in hospital and car might be totaled. More info soon...

He texted me about an hour ago.

He was driving to work and stopped at a red light. An older woman who was putting on makeup while driving rear-ended him at about 40MPH and pushed him into the car in front of him. The airbags caused some severe burns on his left arm and some mild burns on his face, and he also received a concussion and screwed up his neck and back pretty good. Car might not be totaled, but will need at least $10,000 in repairs.

He is recovering, but I'll see if he wants to get on here and post some photos of the car when he gets them. He says that for what happened the car did very well.

He is watching this topic, even though he isn't a member. He says his lower back is still a little sore, but overall he is OK. Looks like he's gonna have to wait a while (next year) to become an 86 owner again.

best of luck in a full recovery back injuries are no fun. Hope next one that he purchases whenever that may be does not get messed up by an asshat not paying attention. I hate when I am driving and see someone reading or putting on make up or just not paying attention.

That's unfortunate news. But thank god he's physically allright.
I'm sure if you brought those items to the meet someone would scoop it up!
