Types of intakes
i see we already have a bunch of different intakes, lots of which i clearly see are SRI. i see the takeda is a CAI, but are there any other CAI? injen i've seen listed as CAI in 1 forum and SRI in another so I'm really confused at this point

go to this thread. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13742 or this one: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4270 As far as your question, there really is not a true CAI for sale right now, only SRI. My recommendation is to wait a bit more time before getting one. Some months from now we should have a pretty good selection of which to choose from. Takeda is not really a CAI. Disclaimer: It depends on your definition of CAI. For some people, a CAI is an intake that goes all the way down close to the road to take the coldest air possible in. If you define CAI simply as cool air (as in not directly from the engine), then practically all of the intakes available are CAI's because they take the air from the front of the radiator, where it is isolated from the engine heat.
