Dead wheel/tire from 1/2" bolt (seriously...)

Hello good people! I still can't believe all the variables lined up to do this, and felt I needed to share it. No-one got hurt, so I like to try and see the funny side of situations like this!

Luckily I was going only 25-30km/h when I hit it. Legit a 1/2" bolt, 6" long, with bonus included fender washer. Punched into the rim as it is longer than the sidewall height. I would humbly describe this bolt as an absolute unit...

So... My secondary purpose here is to gently enquire whether any fellow Gen 2 owners may have a full or parted out set of OEM 17" wheels collecting dust somewhere, and might be amenable to selling me one. I'm in the middle-ish area of Canada for distance reference. Not 100% sure if I'll need one, have to continue talking with insurance and such things, but feel free to send me a PM/DM/whatever they are called these days, if interested

Cheers!

Much higher than than people think.
The stuff that I have see for myself is scary enough let alone what I've seen on the Web.

Insurance must be different in Canada. I can't imagine filing a claim over something so small as a wheel and tire.

I have a full set of '23 18" BRZ Limited wheels, with factory TPMS, only 700 miles. But I'm in Oklahoma.

Man that sucks!

Also, the flavor on the Nutri Grain bar!

When I was in high school I was on my way to work and somehow an open ended wrench ended up in my tire. Unfortunately, the longer half stayed outside the tire and beat the shit outta the wheel well.

Man I loved that 84 Prelude

A tire/alignment shop curbed one of mine. I think I paid around $400 for a new one, so they aren't too bad thankfully.
