Front end fasteners to keep gaps tight - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I've seen those mounting bits you put on the front end clip at the corners to keep them tight and, I think, for quicker service. But all I'm finding is the ones that use an o-ring and two pins.

What are they called?

i believe they're called something like quick release push buttons.

I got some random ones off of ebay. Stainless steel if I remember correctly. Don't mount too close to side marker light.

there was a group buy for some sort of aftermarket performance brand of them. somewhere i want to say early 2014.

i have a set of those. they're keeping the dust from collecting too thickly on a shelf. somewhere to the south-west in my basement.

the package looked nice.

I used these. They are not great at keeping the bumper gap tight but they help some. I just have them for how often I have had my bumper on/off. The tabs on my front bumper are smoked so this is mostly what is keeping it on at the corners.

I have jeep parts like that, most the FRS parts have been installed already. MTEC trans springs about it right now. A shelf of jeep parts.

Found something on Amazon, I'll give em a try. I only ordered four. Do you really need two per side?

I was looking at them to help with the gap. And I've had the front off enough with the SC kit and changing a headlight these looked like a good idea. Looks like I'll put a nut and bolt in that corner I see others writing about to keep that gap clean. This click together stuff is frustrating and just wears out to fast.

i lucked out on my last truck, a co-worker bought the same truck, just 1 year newer. he inherited a ton of parts, much to chagrin of his wife.

but what is life without projects. boring. that's what it is.

Well, I lucked out, I did buy 4 so I do have 2 per side. Haven't installed yet, been kid's basketball season. But it just finished about to pass so I can get back to it and work just gave more wiggle room.
