Correct me if I’m wrong, but a standard Brembo 6/4 pot is gonna be more than this new, and the TRD surely makes it more valuable?

The normal PP Brembos would be around 3k, but these are the Monoblock brake kit Brembos, which are a lot more powerful and have a ton more stopping force than the PP Brembos. This type of Brembo was originally used on the Griffon Concept. These were only sold in Japan, and this is a good price used since they go for at least $5,500 plus shipping and import taxes most of the time. GLWS OP

Its not about how light a car is to use a type of brake like this, its all about resisting heat and dispersing it. If you are driving your car only on the street, the absolute most you will need is upgraded pads. If you are on a track and needing to brake hard and a lot, no matter the weight, you need to resist heat and disperse it to make sure you don't have brake fade. The TRD Griffon used this, and that weighed under 2300 pounds and had stock power...
