Plastidip Clear Flat?
Has anyone used the Clear plastidip that just makes your current color look flat? Reason I ask is I was thinking of doing my roof on my Whiteout with the clear to see how it comes out.

Awhile ago I thought of trying to make a clear bra by spraying clear then glossifier over top of it.
|
No, but I would love to see how that looks. I have messed around with plastidip on small items and so far have been really impressed with the looks, but never tried it on any exterior items.
Thanks, Rick |

i too am curious how this comes out. do it for us :D

lol I was thinking of trying it not sure how a dull pearl paint would look.
I also have some vinyl I might try instead. ill let you guys know how it all turns out =P |
It would be interesting to see how clear flat plastidip holds up against washing. Sure with a layer of plastidip you'd never really have to wash it but a matte finish will probably hold more dirt.

xpel has a clear flat paint protection.
http://www.xpel.com/products/stealth_film.asp It's pretty awesome. |
There are how to videos on coating a whole car posted on a Detailing Bliss thread.http://youtu.be/rNY9Dx617N8. Check this one out.
PS. I have no connection with this company or anyone connected to it. just thought the info was right along with the info the OP was looking for. I think this stuff is available in clear. Would make a great tempoary bra for long road trips. IMO. |
