FS: Ace A350 w/ CSG Double Ceramic Coating
Hi everyone,
I'm parting with a much-loved A350 with the inside & outside ceramic coating from Counterspace Garage. Including a brand new hardware kit which provides you with all of the gaskets and hardware for the header to overpipe connection. I noticed a small weld crack after removing it from the car, hence the lowered price. I think it could be fixed quite easily by someone handier than myself. There is some wear on the outside coating from both rubbing on the skid plate (a known issue with this header) and just regular install wear. Don't mind the spots—it was raining when I took the photos ![]() $1200 OBO + shipping. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I really like my Ace! I had mine get a few cracks that look just like that. I wonder if Ace were to weld completely around if it might solve the issue from the get go. I had a local place fix it up for me.

That was my plan as well. But since I'm parting out the car, I figured the next owner would prefer to choose their own shop if they want to fix it.

Doesn't ACE have a 5 year warranty? If the header is not that old, I would reach out to them and see if they will cover this.
Looks like the crack is from the weld, and into the flange, correct? |

I tried that myself. Contacted CSG and they said they forwarded my pics to Ace. I never heard back, but didn’t contact Ace directly. Just wanted it fixed so I got it done locally.

Ya - the crack from the runner into the flange is what scares me about fixing it. Cracked weld no problem IMO. That's why I suggested Warranty, which this likely should be warrantied thru ace, especially since they likely will only warranty to the original buyer.

Ace updated their flange design this year after observing a few cracks.
Getting the area cleaned and repaired locally should be totally fine. Also, FYI, that overpipe ceramic would be covered under lifetime warranty to the first owner. It's cosmetic flaking (as indicated by the ceramic revealed underneath, rather than steel), but covered regardless. |
