Eibach springs & Black 18x8 with 245/35/18

I picked up the car yesterday from the Dealership. 2 sets of wheels, tires, and Eibach springs were already waiting at Kauffman tire ready to be installed. Those guys are good to me! Its too bad I can only put one set of wheels on the car at a time...

I installed Enkei, 18x8 with 245/35/18's on all 4 corners. The tires seem to fit perfect... they are not stretched at all. There might be a small amount of tire meat hanging over the edge that might protect the wheel from curb rash.... but it is very minimal meat overhang.

All 4 of these wheels are +45 offset.

I also had Kauffman install the Eibach lowering springs. The car sits a little lower than factory, but as you can tell it is not dramatic. When I get time I will take many more photos to show how the wheels fit from the sides etc...

I also purchased the Enkei RPF1's and have already installed Toyo RA1 tires on them. The Toyos are 235/40/17's. I'm thinking that combining R compound tires with this car will make it just that much more fun to drive.

The SS Camaro is the car that I currently use for HPDE's. The last week of August I am going to take both cars to Road Atlanta and both will have R' compound tires.

Thanks guys... originally the wife didn't like the idea of black wheels. Now she loves them. The Eibach lowering springs ride pretty nice too.

Love the blue/black combo as well. I was looking at the TSW Nurburgring wheels which look almost identical to these. What made you choose the Enkeis? I think the TSWs are around 18.5 lbs for the 18s.

I really just liked the style of the wheel of the Raijin. I bought 2 sets of wheels when I bought the Enkeis. I also purchased 17x8 RPF1's which are around 15lbs specifically for the track. I really like the TSW's as well... I think I am going to go with a track specific setup for my SS camaro with the TSW's. Right now I have forgestar F14's for the street on the Camaro. I don't want to have the same wheels for any of my cars.

Also... If I'm correct the TSW's aren't avaialbe in matte black.
