Eibach springs & Black 18x8 with 245/35/18
I picked up the car yesterday from the Dealership. 2 sets of wheels, tires, and Eibach springs were already waiting at Kauffman tire ready to be installed. Those guys are good to me! Its too bad I can only put one set of wheels on the car at a time...
I installed Enkei, 18x8 with 245/35/18's on all 4 corners. The tires seem to fit perfect... they are not stretched at all. There might be a small amount of tire meat hanging over the edge that might protect the wheel from curb rash.... but it is very minimal meat overhang. All 4 of these wheels are +45 offset. I also had Kauffman install the Eibach lowering springs. The car sits a little lower than factory, but as you can tell it is not dramatic. When I get time I will take many more photos to show how the wheels fit from the sides etc... I also purchased the Enkei RPF1's and have already installed Toyo RA1 tires on them. The Toyos are 235/40/17's. I'm thinking that combining R compound tires with this car will make it just that much more fun to drive. The SS Camaro is the car that I currently use for HPDE's. The last week of August I am going to take both cars to Road Atlanta and both will have R' compound tires. Last edited by JMAC75; 08-10-2012 at 01:08 AM. |

Thanks guys... originally the wife didn't like the idea of black wheels. Now she loves them. The Eibach lowering springs ride pretty nice too.

Love the blue/black combo as well. I was looking at the TSW Nurburgring wheels which look almost identical to these. What made you choose the Enkeis? I think the TSWs are around 18.5 lbs for the 18s.
