Best tire to pair with Enkei RPF1 18x8?

Hey guys - I'm planning on getting some Enkei RPF1's 18x8 pretty soon, but I'm still struggling to decide what kind of tires to pair them with.

I'm leaning towards Michelin Pilot Supersports based on feedback I've received from some friends. Still open to other opinions though. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can ever go wrong with star specs

What are you looking for exactly? An Autocross tire? Summer/High Performance? Or a good all-season?

Reviews on tirerack.com are also helpful.

Pilot SuperSports for sure. I've loved StarSpecs (currently have them on the FD), but their time has come, there are better tires now. PSS beat StarSpecs in every single category in Car and Driver testing: dry and wet autox, dry and wet braking, dry and wet skidpad, sound level, subjective feel, everything but price.

I'll probably be getting a set in skinny (225/245) sizes for the FD for DD usage and possibly a Texas Mile run...
