MY17+ taillights on MY13-16 frs - gasket question

Hi, I'm getting a pair of 17+ tail lights for my '13 fr-s. I'm looking at the gaskets from gasketninja and wondering if I need to get the 13-16 gaskets, or the 17+ gaskets. They seem to have different hole shape/locations.

I should go with the 17+ gaskets, correct?

Awesome, thanks. And is it always necessary to replace the gasket, or only if the existing gasket looks like it doesn't have a solid seal?

It probably is not 100% necessary to replace them if they look like they are in good shape, but because the gaskets are so cheap I'd just buy new ones so you can have peace of mind.

MY17+ taillights on MY13-16 frs - gasket question

If your gaskets on your 13 are original, replace them. It’s not worth risking getting a leak or fogging up your new taillights.
