MY13-16 vs MY17+ AT
Hey All,
Just wondering if there were any difference between the MY16 and MY17 automatic transmission? I know the MT received more aggressive gearing for the refresh, but any changes to the auto? Doesn't look like any changes were made.

There's an internal document that got leaked (and it's somewhere to be found, not sure where) detailing MY17 refresh changes over first gen FT86s.
Most notably, all MY17+ received stiffer cylinder blocks alongside more "under the hood" improvements. 17+ MTs did also get a slight boost in power as a result of the new intake (and got improved, tougher pistons to boot). However there wasn't much in the way of drivability changes for the AT, which IMHO is a little silly but what can you do. |
