Ecutek - Using rear 02 for a different sensor

As per title, I am using the rear 02 sensor for a oil pressure input. All ok but I can see the voltage feed to the sensor which I am taking from the rear 02 osciliates. Reading around it's because I am using the o2 heater to power the sensor and this uses PWM to cycle the heater on and off normally.

If I power the sensor from a direct feed to the battery it works as expected.

Does anyone know how I can power the sensor without this PWM / voltage oscillation? Is there a way I can turn it off in Ecutek?

I can see other people have run the oil pressure sensor solely off the rear 02 socket so I know it's possible.

i do this: Do not use custom map for that
Use Ecutek COOLANT PRESSURE (CP) sensor

you can scale your sensor there and apply SMOOTHING
put a smoothing of 0.2 (1 is no smoothing) and you ll have your output value much more stable and then with custom map you will refer to COOLANT PRESSURE to build a failsafe if you want

if you need help i can do it for you, otherwise ask your tuner to use the CP

same signal of oil pressure from rear 02, one with smoothing one without

edit: sorry didn t read well. you should NOT power your sensor with rear o2, you need a stable 12v possibly on key, change it ASAP

Thanks for the reply, absolutely makes sense what you're saying so will switch over to cp sensor. I will get digging to find out what wiring I need to do to use the new input.
