Question recommend oil for build engine

Dear


I have build my engine with
Cp pistons 10.5
Eagle rods

Toda oil pump



Weather here between 25-38 c degrees


What oil grade to use

Some say

5w30
5w40
10w40
So on..

im in for 10w40 at least with forged pistons especially, i use 0w40 / 5w40 with stock pistons

Ask the advice of the builder. A lot of them run a non synthetic break in oil for initial startup, and a 100 mile oil change, then 500 miles, at which point they let you put in your preferred brand/weight.

i use 0w-40 exclusively on my stock motor. car sees mostly track days and time attack. then a drive or two or a few to some car shows.

Anyone of you try to put this oil grade
20w50?


At both stock or build engine??
Coze my friend use it more than an year with no issue (build engine with stock rods and pistons )
