So reading post older cars was not wired unless it was a BRZ limited I think. Does the newer ones like the 17's still not have wiring pre installed ?

USDM 2017 86 here, no wiring. I'm planning doing my own.

Take some step by step pics if ya have time when you do it. I hate to tear that door window seal off a new car as it never seems to stick back the same.

I don't so much care about the door lights but am I crazy for wanting this ?

Do the 2017 86 860's/2018 86 GT's have these wiring harnesses? As far as I know it's almost identical to a BRZ limited trim wise.

You dont need to go through the door and tap into the dome light.
just tap into the wires in the door
