Help installing dash cam (front and rear)
I would like to install a dash cam (Amazon has a cheap $20 cam with front and rear recording

Refer to this guide on how to install the front dashcam.
When I did my rear dashcam install, I followed part of the sharkfin antenna guide for removing the roof liner. |

The front is fairly easy just route the cable from the headliner to the passenger pillar then to the glove box. For my rear cam, I loosened the panel with the logo, there's like 5 or so bolts, fished the wire beside the trunk key hole.

No need to do more than the above noted headliner removal (and it doesn't even have to come off) for the rear camera, usually. I have previously run dual singles (remote base) and now a Street Guardian SG9663DC; in both cases cable went up the a-pillar for power, and across the roof along one edge. Quite simple. Both cameras mounted at the top of the front/rear windows.

For the rear, i routed it through the pillars then through the rubber of the door thrn to the floor "scuff guard" and so on. Just follow the panels until you reach the back
No need to fully route it through the head liner. Done it this way for 3 different cars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I installed my cam by tucking the wire under the headline, then under the plastic A pillar cover, then under the window weather stripping. There is a panel that can be removed so the wires can feed directly into the glove box all leading to a super stealth install.

Viafo A119 is pretty solid. It's a good balance of quality and cost. But any dashcam is better than no dashcam!

Constant power from Dome light
I wanted to utilize my cameras parking mode and keep the glove box outlet free for other uses. I used a hardwire kit and came off of my dome light wiring which has constant power. Very easy to pull the dome light assembly down. My car sits garaged 98% of the time so I just pull the camera which has a quick disconnect bracket to not worry of draining the battery. I do not know if newer models have constant power at their dome lights or not though.
