Seatback noise
Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this issue. On my 2017 BRZ, when accelerating from a stop, sometimes I get an audible click from my seatback (which I can feel slightly) as if it is not quite in the reclining locked position. I tried to adjust my seat (messing with the recline and locking back in place) but to no avail. Only the driver seat does this as far as I know.

If it's still under warranty I'd take it to the dealer first.

Mine clicks on left turns. I have noticed it happening less since I lost weight. Weight might play a role?

I’m 155, so I don’t think that my weight would be a huge concern.

Mine also (inconsistently) clicks on left turns. I've taken it to the dealer and they said they couldnt reproduce the noise.
I would suggest recording the noise for proof or finding a spot near your dealership where you can 100% reproduce the noise prior to bringing it in. |

I have a random squeak that comes from the seat/seat buckle area. I can't reproduce it consistently.
