AT manual mode
Is it possible (and safe for the transmission) to switch an AT from D to manual mode (or from manual back to D) while the car is moving? Is there a speed limit for doing this? So far I've only been shifting in and out of manual while stopped, but I'd like to be able to do it at any time just don't want to break the transmission doing it at the wrong time. I don't see anything in the owners manual specifying this.

It doesn't effect anything switching from D to manual mode or vice versa on the move. Also if you want, you are able to use the paddles while in D it's just slower and only really useful as like a pseudo kickdown switch if you want to wake up the transmission on a highway to prepare for a pass or to engine brake and make loud noises when you have an exhaust

Sport mode just changes the shift points. It makes NO physical, mechanical changes to the vehicle. It isn't like engaging 4LO where you have to be stopped because you are mechanically locking things. Toggling sport mode is like toggling your computer from battery saver mode to high performance mode.
Even if it did, your car wouldn't let you do it when it wasn't safe to do so. Just as vehicles don't allow you to engage 4LO until you are stopped, and the transmission is placed in neutral.

Just make sure you are above 30 before you go to Race Mode. its the R on the shift lever.
