Camshaft's

Are 2012 cams the same grind as 2015 and can 2012 cams be installed in a 2015 engine?

They are different. The parts were changed to accommodate the changed lengths of the valves. Check below:

Camshaft, Intake, RH
old SU003-00180
new SU003-04741

Camshaft, Exhaust, RH
old SU003-00181
new SU003-04742

The change was done in May 2013. In general 2014-2016 models have the same valves, only 2013 has the earlier valves.
