Plug and Play Footwell Kit Question

Hey guys, so I just acquired one of those plug and play footwell lighting kit that just plugs into the lighter plug with a remote to control colors, etc.
I was wondering if it's possible to mod it and have the light to only come on when I turn my headlights on. I only want to have it on during the night when I turn my headlights on tbh and I know it's easy enough to control with the remote but just wondering if anyone knows how to somehow tap it into the headlight switch.
Thanks

A bit late, yes, but nobody's touched on this, so I'll give you the rundown:

Depending on the draw, you may be able to use the Illumination circuit that powers the dash and radio illumination when the lights turn on.

If the amperage is higher, you'd just want to have that illumination circuit engage a relay that powers the LEDs from the accessory line that runs the lighter plug.

I went all out and included the door triggers on my setup so the LEDs go to 100% when the door is opened, and dim back down with the cabin light until it hits my adjustable dimmer setting of 25%. That required some ingenuity on the wiring, but still possible

That sounds cool, I'd like to see a video of it inaction.
