1. No.
2. Doesn't matter. Refer to first point.

If I were you, I'd pass any aftermarket crank pulley.

There ain't nutten wrong with the one that came with your car.

Because the heavier the crank pulley the smoother the engine is (to an extent).

When you put on a lightweight crank pulley it makes the engine rev faster in neutral but it makes everything so shakey, lots of nvh etc and there's posts on here that show you make the most power on the stock pulley.

Get this if you want to change the pulley out.

Had a lightweight pulley on for about 300 miles. Then switched to the fluidampr. No regrets.

And... The second you put the car in gear the transmission and drive train become the limiting factor on how fast the engine turns over not the weight of a pulley. Any effect that a light weight pulley has would be totally lost in the noise of everything else that the engine is spinning once the car is moving.

Tcoat, that is the most succinct explanation I have heard/read yet.

I'm surprised we haven't heard from the fanbois. Popcorn's gonna go stale.

Here's the thread you want to start with for lightweight bliss.

I'm just not a fan of raceseng, sure the stuff looks great but it is so expensive. More importantly, the pulley's are the last bit to do, not the first. Unless you just want the bling, in which case you should go for a full set. I am sure they make some sort of difference, but I'm not sure I could tell on this car.

Oh and the installation of our crank pulley's can either be super easy or the worst pain in the ass you have ever had to deal with, depending on how lucky you are getting everything lined up just right.

Eh, Raceseng makes pretty niche product that are made in the USA, so I don't feel bad paying what I did for my tow-hook license plate mount (plus it's the only one on the market that's as adjustable as it is and doesn't come loose!).

Pulleys are 100% useless bling though unless you run underdrive stuff, but of course that causes other issues.

Also, you left out that an improperly installed harmonic damper isn't just a pain in the ass, but can cause serious damage. Not worth it unless you're going for huge power and NEED a larger damper. Money is best spent elsewhere.

You haven't heard about the new lightweight crankshaft that allows rpms up to 12,000, thus increasing horsepower and torque by 40% ........??

Ya gotta keep up ....
