header complication

I tried installing a header today but ran into a big problem. I fail to get the stock header out without removing the overpipe and the front pipe. Is it possible to do it without removing the overpipe or is it really necessary. Also, I got a bolt stuck on the opposite side of the o2 sensor, so I was wondering if you guys know if subaru would fix that issue. I can't call them right now because they're closed and I'm kind of anxious at the moment.
