Rota Grid fitment +complication
Alright, new to forum. Just traded in my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 for my FRS Saturday blah blah it's awesome.
Have my old set of Grids off the MS3 which are obviously 5x114.3 vs our 5x100. Now these babies are 18x8.5 +44 and from my measurements should be just at or slightly below "flush". Issue being that instead of selling these and taking a huge loss by buying 5x100s I'd prefer to try some adapter spacers. Now would these things sit all mexiflush like that or what? I've got some experience with bolt on spacers IE, been running them for 5 years on my Silverado, and used them on a few 240sx's I've owned in the past. I've seriously been trying my hardest to avoid posting on here about it but its killing me trying to decide on my own. So in conclusion, 18x8.5 +44 with a 25mm spacer? Or sell and pick up some 5x100's? I'm thinking some XXR 535s, but what offset do you guys recommend those in for a "flush" look? Stagger them as well? |

my 18x9 +35 are pretty much "flush" so you would be sitting about a inch further in then what "flush" would be, so if you get the conversion from 5x100 to 5x114 you would probably add a inch of thickness which would put it pretty close to "flush"... just sell em and get new wheels is my opinion :-P

How would a 10mm conversion spacer work? I'd imagine the studs are littleee longer than 10mm.

He said 1 inch because he said 25mm spacers. Project Kics sells 10mm conversion spacers, i believe people run them fine.

Is that enough stud after trimming to get a solid bite?
