Purple Permatex Brake Lube Safe on Caliper pins

Has anyone tried Purple Permatex on their caliper pins? I track my car and was planning to use this stuff on my brakes but there were some reviews of issues with rubber dust boots. There's other grease safe for rubber like 3M or Sil Glyde but I'm not sure how they will hold up to high temps on a track.
