Long term CNT header users, how is it?

I'm now on the search for a cost effective UEL. The CNT seems very intriguing, especially at the price point. Initial reviews seem to be positive, but what about some people who have used them long term? Let's say a year or longer. How has it been?

Does anyone think there's a better header for the money? Like something under $400? Or is worth it to just bite the bullet and spend the extra money on a Gruppe-S?

Thanks.

satisfied for about 15k miles worth. granted i havent put the car back in the air to check welds but id assume they are okay because its not making funny noises. for my money i couldnt have found a better deal. others may disagree.

Had mine on for 10k+ miles and it was great. Removed it to get some work done on the car. No complaints.

I'm curious, what tune do you guys run with the CNT? I was planning to run an off the shelf openflash tune but wanted to make sure its safe enough for it (no knock). Anyone have data logs?

stage 2 ots (non ofh specific)

both about a month ago, maybe about 55 degrees out, clear skies.

^ cruising in traffic, varying loads/engine speeds - for some reason advance mult was @ 93%

http://www.datazap.me/u/n8brz/log-14...data=1-5-12-13
^two full throttle pulls from 2nd about an hour later than previous. adv multiplier is solid. i still get a bit of that flkc from 5-7 and then shifting gears it remains. from previous response to these charts i believe my afr could be a lil better. im not confident enuff to optimize those spots out. i believe the critical values are mostly okay.?...

^ for comparison's sake, this was the ofh optimized stage 2 ots tune. these were 3rd gear pulls i believe. the flkc was still there, but youll see a bit of knock corrections. im not sure if that is too much to worry about.?..

this last one was also middle of summer like 95 deg. no telling if that has huge affect on the outcome of the readings other than air intake temp

Mine had cracked in a bend after about a year. Might actually have happened a while before I found out, but there were no obvious indications.
Anyway, I put the stock back on because I'm now supercharged :P
