Complex camless pneumatic/hydraulic electronicly controlled valve train No throttle body required (done be controlling valves) No turbo waste gates (done by controlling duty cycle of the two exhaust valves) No pre-cat converter to pass emmissions Can shut down cylinders at idle or low power requirement mode Can run 2 cycle mode or 4 cycle mode Can run in 2 valve of 4 valve mode Aparantly can get direct injection cooling effect by flushing ait through cylinder mid cycle Total control over valve timing overlap and lift maybe one day on future engines, but looks like its getting closer |

Fantastic but I think most oems are more interested in battery cost/capacity right now.
