bullshit roads, low hanging single exhaust and coilovers

title says it all, I'm fortunate to live in speedbump/pothole central, and I am gonna put coilovers on my car, that's just a foregone conclusion either way. fuck the consequences.

now, handful of issues. my greddy revolution RS is only hanging about 3-4 inches above the ground as it is with stock ride height. no idea how much further down I can go without tearing the whole thing off at the next speedbump.

now, question is, and I've googled around and all I've gotten out of it is one guy claiming that bilstein B14 can go even higher than stock height. which coilovers out there can at the very least match, or at least come close to the stock ride height?

I've never had coilovers on a car before, and I'd rather not be stuck with a set of coilovers set that can't be adjusted higher from a, say, 20mm standard drop. Idea is basically that I can at least try and gradually lower the car from its standard ride height, and try it out from there.

and it has to be TUV certified, be glad you don't live in Norway.

EDIT: Currently looking at H&R monotube, KW V1 and the B14 as they've got TUV certification. greatly appreciate if any owners could give me a quick run down or other recommendations.

might have exegeratted a bit on the horrible roads, but they're far from nice. and our speedbumps are basically just square slabs of concrete placed at random everywhere.

anyone with any TUV certified coilovers that are able to match the original ride height?

Buy the coilovers you want, add 1" lift spacers from ADF, and adjust height to please.

imo Bilstein will be the highest quality, I had mine setup for a half inch lower than stock (~12mm) iirc, I didn't try going higher but it's likely possible.

But this begs the question, why are you getting coilovers?

well I obviously want to lower it dont I, big question is how much.

with a coilover zeroing at stock height, I have the ability to lower it as much as I can, even if its just 15mm, or just return it back to standard.

If you want to get hardcore, install some Parts Shop Max diff/Subframe risers, they will lift the diff up 40mm, then get some of their flat exhaust tubing and get an exhaust shop to modify your exhaust..

All the clearance!
