Custom dash for double din stereo.

So I installed a Kenwood Nav system but wasn't happy with the plastic dash kit that just put two black plastic pieces on either side of the radio. After doing some research on this (full disclosure I totally ripped this idea off from DigitalAssassin) I cut the plastic pieces off, glued them into the dash and then used Bondo to fill in the space. Once I was done I wrapped the dash (and a few other pieces) in carbon fiber and reinstalled the dash. Here's some pics.

That would work too. I just don't have access to a 3d printer but it would probably be easier.

I went a single din HU, so I made a dodgy plastic trim for mine..
Not overly happy, and plan on changing it out for a 7in screen when someone releases a Android Auto HU that I like, and has 3 way xover inbuilt.
