HKS Supercharger GT Property Kit or HKS Supercharger V2?

Hey guys, I recently got a 2014 Scion Fr-s and It is stock except for the exhaust.I want to either get the HKS Supercharger GT Property Kit or HKS Supercharger V2? I was wondering how much power each provides and if I need any modifications before installing either of them before and/or after. Also any opinions are welcome. Thank you.

Check out the HKS Supercharger Owners Thread... you may find your answers there. If not, you could always ask your questions in that thread. Btw, have you considered the v3?

I would like to eventually get the HKS V3. At the moment I just want to get some power. That is why I was wondering about the HKS Supercharger Pro Kit and the HKS Supercharger V2. I want to know how much power they each give respectably and if you need any prior modifications before getting the superchargers and or after getting them. I know that HKS Supercharger Pro Kit is around $760 which I think is really cheap. The HKS Supercharger V2 is $1,800 which is also fairly cheap. The V3 is around $3,800 which at the moment is quite a bit and I know it adds tons of power. I just want somewhere around 40 to 50 hp added with the Supercharger alone if that is possible. Because I could add headers and a Tune, as well as an intake later on.

I think you are mistaken on the pricing. A V2 or V3 kit is usually $3800 US therabouts.

A pro kit requires you to fabricate a mounting plate, source the correct belt etc. It is designed for doing a custom installation where a pre-existing kit doesn't exist or for a higher level of customization. The supercharger a la cart is in the $1600 range. I know, had to buy one.

Read the last few pages of HKS Supercharger owner's thread, the very same question receives several good responses.

Perhaps they sell just the centri blower for $760, but you're not going to get any FI kit for anywhere near that price. If you're looking for 40 ponies or so just to tide you over, get a flex-fuel kit and/or header and a tune for the time being. I don't see much about the 1st two versions but their power output doesn't seem great. I think you should just save your pennies for V3, it looks on par with Vortech in terms of build quality and power potential.
