HKS GT Pro Supercharger

Just received my shipment and as glorious as it is i am pretty sure i need a few more parts....most pretty spendy. Is anyone running one of these and can shed some light?

I think im going to need new injectors (what size? how many? both port and direct?) and ECM (HKS only or should/can i use anyones?).

Any help would be great. I already have a Oil cooler on the way and now the parts are just sitting in my office until i can get them all.

Thanks.

Depends on what power you are looking to make. Are you going to be running pump gas? Or E85? I think the stock injectors should be fine on the basic HKS set up to be honest. They are typically good for 280-300whp. If you wanted to run E85, you would need to upgrade. Only the port injectors are needed, and you may want to look at replacing the fuel pump as well. Is your car an auto? Or manual? You may also want to look into a clutch as well.

So many questions! sorry! Manual 2013. Was going to tune on 91 octane. Pump is easy to get, i was more worried about the ECM and Injectors since they are the most expensive. I am only looking to get 300 max at the moment. Maybe later I will work on more power. I want to maintain a lot of the fun and driveability of the car while making a decent contender on the street and track.

In that case, on 91 oct, you will be fine on the factory fuel pump and injectors, and possibly even the clutch for a bit. As far as tuning goes, I would personally recommend the Ecutek software.

Yea, thats what i was thinking. I saw in the manual mentions for a FCON iS and thats about 980 bones. If i could bypass that part of it i would be most happy.

Yes, that should be just fine. When you are looking to make 300-350, you will need to look into port injectors, fuel pump, and clutch.

Perfect. After the super went in I was going to start beefing up parts as they break. Clutch, suspension and so forth.

I was just hoping to get everything put in, be functional and practical without having to spend another $2k on top the massive expense of the super.

Thanks a lot!

No, 1000cc's are way overkill for 300-350whp. You will simply need maybe the 540's for that kind of power. The aid of the direct injection really helps, so there is no need for large port injectors.

Which version did you go with. Any pics of install when finished. I really want this kit but hard to find info on it doesn't seem to be as popular as the vortech, kraft works etc..

Really been thinking about this kit
