POLL: Whiteline Top Vs SPC bottom vs Crash bolt

There is a lot of different options for camber bolts and lots of different info all over the forum, so i am curious to curate the community results into a single poll, limited to single camber bolt change.

please select the bolt you changed and max negative camber you achieved:

note, the first option for whiteline top is 0.5 and spc 81280 can also be used in place of whiteline

hmm, why whiteline top vs spc bottom? whiteline cam bolts are relabeled spc bolts as far as i know. how much camber adjustment do you want? a little? crash bolts are fine. need a bit more? spc cam bolts in the top holes can give you up to -1.5 in the front. add cam bolts on bottom and you can roughly double that.

SPC bottom with OEM 14mm crash bolt top = -2.4 with 1" drop.

The spec kit is 14 mm for the 14 mm bottom
The white line is a 16 mm for the top
Both are eccentric

Oem bottom is not eccentric 14 mm

Aren't the SPC and Whiteline sourced from the same manufacturer? They look identical.

here is the summary of my research on the bolts

OEM crash bolt is same as the bottom hole 14 mm bolt
Whiteline 416 is essentially a SPC 81280 bolt you can get for 25 bux, its a 16 mm bolt designed for the top 16 mm slot
SPC 81305 is same as 81260 bolt, which is a smaller 14 mm bolt designed for the bottom slot

single digit accounts on the forum indicating -1.2 to -1.5 range adjustment with top whiteline/spc bolt (about -1.1 with oem crash bolt)

not much info on the SPC bottom bolt only, maybe this poll will shed some light, but a few posts about using SPC 81260 on bottom and 81280 on top to get -2.4 to -2.5 negative camber.

Is this a one time, set-it-and-forget-it camber adjustment for lowering your car, or a trackside dialing-in application? If it's for dialing in, I'd go with the option that can be done without removing the wheels. Saves time and energy, like top hats with camber adjustment and adjustable rear control arms.

I got SPC 81280 (16mm) on top holes with -1.3 camber. The alignment shop took longer than usual to install the bolts, so Im not sure if that part is a perfect fit, but they made it work somehow.

Earlier this year I used the bottom (crash) bolt in the top and a 14mm camber bolt in the bottom to get -1.2 on stock suspension. I wanted to get a bit more negative, so I put a 16mm camber bolt in the top. I just got the alignment done and was only able to get -.7. Seems a bit strange, but I guess maybe you can get more slop with the crash bolt to get more negative? I don't currently want to do camber plates so I may have to look into slotting if I want to get more on stock springs.

Whiteline 16mm, about -1.1 degree (up from -0.4 OE)

If you want maximum performance on a budget, 14mm camber bolt on bottom, swap the bottom bolt into the top hole. IMO the only reason to not do this is for complying to a set of rules, which will typically say 'OE crash bolts only' (SCCA) or if you have fears about slippage, which seem unfounded to me, haven't heard of anything slipping and causing issues, if driven aggressively alignment should be checked on a semi-regular basis anyway.

I may be looking into the 14mm SPC bolt to get additional camber after camber plates (currently maxing about -3.6) time will tell.
