I haven't dyno'd it, and my only supporting mods are a drop in air filter (Cosworth) and the DT tune. The rest of the exhaust is 100% stock.
I can tell you that this setup has much more torque than I was expecting. It has usable torque even down at 2000 rpm. It's not unusual for me to be putting along in traffic at about 65 km/h in 6th gear. From there, the power just builds like a freight train (well, ok, an NA freight train) all the way to red line. You will not be disappointing. |

I have considered this as well, it doesn't hurt that it is ACE's lowest cost offering either. Haven't seen a ton about the 400 as it seems most get the 350.

Don't quote me on this, but when I talked to Zach about the 400 vs the 350, he said the top end was unaffected. Even if there is a difference, it seems likely that it would be pretty minor.

Summerwolf: Most drive LHD, thus most get 350 as one giving most gains area under curve, unfortunately it also has clearance issues on RHD.
CS400 is somewhat similar ACE's header to 350, that fits fine on RHD. Also has good gains under curve & slightly even more low rpm optimised then 350 IIRC. It has Type B slip-on welds that makes production faster/cheaper, thus reduction to price, but for clearance enhancement it's overpipe is similar to 250, thus to move optimisation lower in rpm range it had to tuck extra runner length prior ovepipe, with sharper bends in piping. In general get it if RHD or if "almost 350" for less, but if your car is LHD and want no-compromises best possible, get 350. To extract it's gains fully from any of them you'll need competent ecu tuners work though. Safe choice should be Delicious Tuning OTS ecutek tunes for ACE headers. |

Ace header is undoubtedly the best header out there. I currently have a set of CS 400 with JRSC C30, DW injectors & pump, and flex fuel. Currently running Church Tuning conservative tune from Wilmington, CA, outputting 294hp 216tq with cali 91 pump and 330hp 234tq on E85 from a dynopack.
Aside from the performance gain, Ace customer service was phenomenal. I had issues with fitment, and Ace was able to fedex overnight from Taiwan, a brand new header to me to correct the issue.

Do you have any before dynos? Even just a baseline with the supercharger and then supercharger and header would be phenomenal. Also, I'd love to see what that torque curve looks like with that combination. |

I don't have the power figures from before the Ace header was installed. I was running tomei uel before. After switching to Ace, mid to high end power gain was easily noticeable. I think the ultimate sacrifice for me to switch to EL was the sound. I really miss the rumble. But with the power I'm making, I don't regret. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just wish there were more sound clips of the exhaust with a stock exhaust. Aside from my powertrain warranty ending in 15 months, that's the only thing holding me back. I'm a big stickler for sound, not looking for something obnoxious like most UEL's. Pretty sure the CS400 will sound good, but I just need to get a better feel for it.

The Dynapack shows more torque below 3500. Other than that they're quite similar, bar smoothing and differences between dyno types. Ramp rate might also have an impact on that.
