overpipe rubbing>

Wondering if anyone else has this problem or if my scrub mechanical skills are to blame.

I've had a Milltek full headerback sports system exhaust installed for 2 years now. The overpipe was insanely hard, almost impossible to squeeze in. I remember installation being difficult. It is 2.5 so quite thicker than stock overpipe. Every time I go downhill (and only downhill) on rougher roads, I hear a rattling sound near where the overpipe is and I suspect it's rubbing because it's touching the axle or something...

Anyone else have this issue or know what it could possibly be?

Yes, multiple people have experienced this. Your OP is most likely contacting the subframe. Some people have solved this using aftermarket engine mounts, some have solved it with a hammer

The temptation to send this thread off topic is overwhelming.
