TRL/TC Design 4-Point Roll Cage Group Buy
Hello Everyone!
I have just setup a rare opportunity with TC Design. They almost never set up any sort of group-buy's because of the kind of work they perform. The group-buy is for a minimum of 5 fully welded in 4-Point roll cages with harness bars. These are the highest quality cages, and down the road can even be converted to a full 6-Point + with door bars without needing to remove the original 4-point. If you haven't heard of TC Design, they are quite well known for their motorsports background and fab work. Requirements: -All cars have to go to TC Design at the same time -All the cages will be painted black for free ($200 savings) -All cages will be built to the same spec -Interior must be removed before hand (this is something I will be offering out of my shop, at no extra cost) Lead time is 1 month for scheduling, then TC estimates 2 weeks for total completion, so cars can be picked up as they are finished(average time per build is 2-3 days). We can make sure to schedule it so the people that need their cars the soonest will get first in line of production. I am fine leaving my car until very last. Cost: Price for the cage is $1500 out the door List of Interested: 1. @The Racers Line 2. @byun 3. @xero404 4. @WoOosOn 5. Here are some pictures of the mounting(many thanks to Tony Cassell) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very temping. Do you have any more pictures of the 4pt roll bar?
Is the seat & harness install price also reduced at this time? Also, I'm assuming we can choose to get a seat and harness at a later date. Will the roll bar preclude us from fitting any particular seat? (I'm assuming no) |

Seat and Harness install price will be GREATLY reduced at the time of the cage install. You can keep the stock seat with this cage no problem. So if you wanted to wait a bit before settling on a new fixed back seat set-up, that would be no problem. The rollbar allows for fitting just about any seat you can find, as the hoop and supports are mounted to the rear seat platform vs. the floor. (safer as well) |

I've seen this in Tony's car and it is a nice setup! Great GB price too!! I'd jump on this if the car wasn't already committed in a different direction.

FWIW, I've known Tony an easy 20 years via the BMW Club. He's done a ZILLION BMW Club racecars. As a side note, see if you can catch him driving, the guy puts a lot of pros to shame too.
(I did the flaming helmet logo for his shop BTW) |

Is this the little shop in Campbell? Do you have to have the headliner out? I'm tempted if I could customize my rear seat delete to make it look nice for a street car.

For this group buy, all the cars need to be the same. We'll likely have to remove the headliner, as it puts the cage hoop at the highest point for safety. Last edited by The Racers Line; 05-20-2016 at 12:57 PM. |
