How much different are the dimensions on these calipers? Which ones are larger in each direction?

I have confirmed fitment of a certain wheel on a TRD 86 but now I'm not sure if it will fit my PP BRZ. I was told offset wasn't the issue, it's barrel clearance.

So do the PP Brembos provide more barrel clearance or the TRD Brembos?

The 6 piston TRD big brake kit is pretty rare, so I have no idea. That's what I was referring to in that post.

The TRD brembos from the factory are the same as the PP Brembos.

gpvecchi: you are sure on that? (checking up in background, as maybe cheaper then PP retrofit). Or you wrote that about same clearance, not about same parts?

I have a '17 BRZ with PP, and recently started looking for aftermarket wheels.
To my disappointment, it turned out that those Brembos are so big that many wheels don't fit.
On top of that, the available information about what fits was scarce. I even ended up ordering wheels that didn't fit — because I couldn't easily find any information that they don't

I've decided to gather a list of known FIT (without spacers! 5x100 only), as well as popular DO NOT FIT wheels for these calipers. This list is combined from an old post by FT86SpeedFactory (thanks for the starting point!) and some random posts on this forum I've found.

Feel free to post specs of wheels not on this list that clear PP Brembos (preferably with photo evidence that they clear) and I'll try my best to keep this list up to date for a while. Also please share if you know of some wheels that do not fit that might be of common interest (RPF1 17x9, I'm looking at you!).
Hopefully this post will be useful for many people and admins will make it Sticky.

BRZ PP seems to have the same calipers as BRZ tS and 2004–2017 STi, this can be a good lead for more finds.

This list is focused mostly on clearing the brake calipers.
For other fitment questions (will it fit? will it poke? will it rub? will it hit the strut? etc.) it generally doesn't matter if you have Brembos or base trim brakes, so there should be more information on that on this forum, such as in the first three posts in this thread.

Don't forget to use your own judgement before making a purchase — I'm just collecting what I find online, and I can't personally verify every combo / claim.
Note that if one variation of the wheel is listed here as FIT, it doesn't guarantee that another variation will fit too, e.g. it's not uncommon for wider wheels to have more concave spokes than narrower wheels of the same model, causing issues on the hub-side edge of the caliper.

Enough boilerplate, enjoy the list!

Does anyone know if the Sparco Assetto Gara 17x7.5 et48 will clear Brembos with a spacer? Tire Rack says they won't fit, but they don't know how close it is. The Trofeo 5 in the same size fit, so I'm thinking the Gara shouldn't be far off. I don't mind running a small spacer. Should the barrel diameter on these 2 wheels be the same?

What clearance do we need to the caliper to claim they fit? 3mm? 5mm?
Is minimum spoke clearance different than minimum barrel clearance?
