I find Shock Top boring, at least all the versions I've had. Also stouts tend to taste like watered down imperial stouts. If I want something to taste, I go for a serious triple bean, barrel ages mofo. If I want something like, a heff is nice. Jack's Brewery makes my favorite light beer, a wheat ale, Boys of Summer. Totally unoffensive. Kids could drink it. They say it's light on alcohol, but even one gives me a light buzz.

I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I've only had it twice, but every time I go to the store and see it on the shelf I have to resist the urge to buy all of them. I just want to hoard it.

Costco had it on sale for $18. I bought two, drank one, and gave the other away. When I went back to get more, they were sold out. Normally it's $25. Barrel aged Narwhal is a good substitute, but it's not the same and almost as expensive. Sometimes they add weird fruity flavors to it too, which is annoying.
