Just an update. Got mine this week. DRL works as per normal. Its on when driving with lights in auto mode during the day. Stays on when it gets dark and main lights come one.

Had an accidental short drift going around waterfall park traffic circles the other night

Not sure what else is significant. I noticed that the 86 badges along the sides are different to the ones on earlier models. Mine has red paint in and around the opposing pistons. Lifts the colour against the pearl white quite nicely.

I'll try and take a few. I noticed it in 86's reflection on a vehicle in front of me in traffic.

Gave her a wash late this afternoon. Going to polish tomorrow morning- nice simple one just to remove scuff marks off the side door sills. Midas made a fortune off me today with new car polish and cleaning kits

The red on the piston emblem is normal for High spec. Std spec is black.

Did it come with a touch screen radio and cover over the spare wheel?

Touch screen radio was fitted by dealer - not standard. No spare wheel cover unfortunately.

I was wrong! Its the same as sav mentioned. Only works as park lights. The reflection I saw that morning was probably just reflections. Pity.

Only works on Park light setting and comes on automatically ONLY with headlights, not separately. Checked it several times now.

So no differences to my car.
