Maestro idatalink test dummy
Just ordered the idatalink for the pioneer 4200nex I just put in. Suppose to make it read all the gauges so I will know by the end of this week when it comes in. I can't find a single person that has tried this on our cars.... Feel free to chime in if anyone has this set up

I considered it, but with out steering wheel controls in the frs, I didn't see the point of paying so much. Looking forward to your review.

what gauges does it have? I am assuming you're able to change the gauge display? this looks like a really nice way to avoid buying extra gauges (I have a ScanGauge and it looks kinda ugly lol) but I also want to keep my factory navigation since from what I have seen, aftermarket HU's are not compatible with factory nav

-Maestro RR. This is all you need to make the IDataLink connect to the head unit. -I am an electrician, but working on car electrical really weirds me out for some reason. It was super sketchy actually cutting OBD2 wires and having to get the two wires for the IdataLink spliced together. Besides the obd2 wires everything else was super easy. I dont recommend this if you are not good with stripping wires. It was very difficult for me to get them stripped the way they are located and dont think i could have done it safely unless I did it every day like i do. Who ever does this will need some legit pair of wire strippers to do it. |
