Would the GC coils fit with the PJDM strut tower combo?

If I was in your situation I'd buy coilover sleeves from Ground Control

That all depends on how much you value ride quality.

The cars only have about 3" of bump travel at stock height, so dropping it 2" on stock (or stock length) shocks is going to require very high spring rates to keep it off the bump stops. High spring rates require high dampening rates, which will make it ride like a dump truck on the road.

A 2 inch drop would put it well into the bumpstops at rest.

No, this won't work with GC camberplates, however you could still use the GC street system that still uses the OE strut/shock mounts in conjunction with the PJDM combo.

Do you already have the PJDM bar?

On springs? Unfortunately nothing. You can cut the bumpstops (or a few springs come with replacement stops) but you have to be careful with how that works with the rest of the system. But 2 inches is just too much, even 1.5 IMO is too much.

For those drops you should be using coilovers.

Shortened struts.. but yeah no one is doing that yet either for lowering springs.

Those GC coilovers look great! I opted for the KW's in the end

First, I have absolutely no experience with air suspension. However, I have read a little bit about air suspension, specifically from AirRex. AirRex worked with a shop called Forjworks or something like that for Sema and has a air ride setup for the FRS. I don't know if it is released yet but my limited knowledge of air suspension is that it allows a big drop and with the right settings can maintain a good ride quality. Personally, I'm waiting for the ohlins.

EDIT: Got curious after posting and looked up some air suspension from airrex. It can be expensive! Damn! Not sure what it will end up being for the FRS.
