Now you're making me think I may not want to install my OEM Forester oil cooler parts I had previously ordered. Has anybody confirm fitment (or non-fitment) of the Mocal thermostatic plate with Kraftwerks kit?

nope, I would still recommend using the OEM Forester oil cooler , as I mentioned, the ambient temps were considerably higher yesterday when compared to my previous event...55 F vs 75 F, and on top of that, I was running a Supercharger kit which should definitely increase the overall temps yet I was still able to see the same oil temps with the addition of KW ..I think the issue was; I wasn't able to burp the coolant system when changing my OEM radiator with KoyoRad and since the oil temps (with OEM unit ) depends on the Radiator coolant temps (since it's an oil to water ) by reducing Coolant Temps, I should be able to reduce Oil temps .. Many people who switched to FI don't really see any increase in coolant temps and also many people don't even bother upgrading the radiator ..and since my coolant temps were higher yesterday even with a bigger radiator, that was the first thing that came on my mind..

I will make sure there is no air in the system and report back

I have the KW oil cooler installed and I added a Derale remote thermostat. It works beautifully.

I don't know if they're online, but there was a paper packet that came with the kit.

*edit*

I just got around to watching your video. Do you normally shift early, even before the SC? Engine RPM has a direct correlation to oil temperature that is fairly independent of actual engine output.
Mike, previously I have seen 205F-210F with OEM radiator and after the bigger radiator and KW I saw a few 230F as my coolant temps. Since as in his recent post @Model Citizen and you've just mentioned that the coolant temps were not affected with the Rotrex I think it's just my mistake when installing the KoyoRad I couldn't do a good job getting rid of the air in the system.

Normally, I always shift when I see the blip I believe it's set to 7400 rpm from factory ( I haven't changed it) but maybe in my videos it's not visible or I might have shifted a bit early

think you misread my post, or i wrote it wrong,

kw kit has been on since january or so, got the scanguage about a month ago, my comparison was of pre cooler post cooler, both with sc.

my bad if i wrote it like shit.

on the upside, the little oe sandwich cooler absolutely helps, just probably not to a technically adequate degree.

I'll clarify as well. The Rotrex does put more heat into the stock cooling system, but not so much that it can't handle it. In other words, the peak temps were the same.

However, (this is where the clarification comes in), the rate of fluctuation in the temperatures is now faster. The fans turn off at about 185F, and turn back on at about 195F (depends on which temp sensor you're logging). Once the fans turn on, coolant temps start to go down, and when they turn off, the temps start to go back up. The rate at which the temps goes back up was faster post-Rotrex, indicating that there was indeed more heat going into the coolant, but the fans were able to bring the temps down every time, also indicating that the stock system is more than capable of handling that extra horsepower.

When you start dumping oil heat into the radiator... well, my data set for that is not yet large enough to draw any conclusions.
