The crickets are annoying, but my latest pump from the October 2013 TSB had woodpeckers yesterday. It's chirping again today, so I guess we'll see how if fares as it gets warmer.

So, explain how e85 has stopped chirps for some people? Very nice try. But that's not the solution. In fact the ethanol free gas I put in over the weekend is chirping more than the e10 blend I usually get.

I may be deviating from topic a bit...

if ethanol has a very high octane rating. 91 octane with 10% ethanol content is still 91 octane gas. IMO it might be the remaining 90% that might cause the issues.

Of course, I know jack about fuel...
