No more pedal dance?

Trac Off now turns off the brake LSD for M/T.

Quote:
In previous models (up to 16MY), the brake LSD function was ON (enabled) even during VDC OFF mode, which often caused interference during sporty driving. To avoid this from 17MY, the brake LSD function has been turned OFF (disabled) during VDC OFF (Mode 4) for 6MT models.

Not sure if this was already posted or obvious, but since I saw so many people making speculations on how the extra 5hp came about...

"The higher power output has been achieved mainly through a combination of reduced pressure
loss and optimized intake efficiency (inertial effect on the intake).
 Reduced pressure loss:
changed the shape of the exhaust system, change d the shape of the air cleaner case and
boot, improved the intake element
 Optimized intake efficiency: changed the shape of the intake manifold "

there has been a few times where I was oversteering on the track and I thought that I could control it until at the end where my car just instantly loses control. I wonder if having the VSC/TC fully off (pedal dance) would have affected anything. or I just suck at counter steering lol

Its actually called Yuzu, not sure where sunrise yellow came from.

But yes, if you get the paint code (which will be out eventually) any paint shop should be able to repaint your car that color or any other color you want

In other words they could call it pink polka dot for all it matters, if the paint code is the same it's the same damn paint!
tell me genius, where's your link showing that charlesite yellow is the same as sunrise yellow or yuzu for scion?

LED designed headlight is, from my experience, as bright as HID. My daily is a 2015 Corolla with OEM LED headlight. It look great, it's reallly bright and it don't generate heat on the housing like HID. The only minus, (on the Corolla) if the LED fail, the headlamp assembly must be replaced.

Soo if I were trading in a 13 at FRS soon should I get a series.blue since there's one near here for sale or wait for the 17. I'm leaning towards the series blue? Any opinions? If I don't get a series blue I'm waiting for the 17 regardless

Probably means running change. Somebody with a last batch MY16 should check under the hood.

Been using high output LEDs on my mountain bike and flashlights for a decade, and they generate ALOT of heat. I can imagine they must have massive headsinks on these LED car headlights somewhere at the back. If the heat doesn't dissipate then the light output would dim overtime.

Amazing how far LED technology has become, a palm size flashlight now can output like 1000 lumens.

What's a different yellow? The two links you provided clearly show that both the Subaru and Scion/Toyota yellow colours are the same paint code, C2Z.
You're mistake is in assuming that the new 2017 BRZ Special Edition in Charlesite yellow is a new for 2017 colour. Just like the guy with the Crosstrek Limited in the above link.

We don't know what the colour code is yet because it's not been released. BUT, most are predicting it'll be C2Z.

Why is everybody trying to guess the yellow based upon pictures on a computer screen? I can look at the same pics on three different monitors and see three distinctly different shades of yellow. I would not even remotely want to guess if it is the same colour or not.
Eventually the code will be released and we will know beyond argument if it is the same or not but until then the debate is silly.
