The same thing happened to me until I got the 2nd bypass. Every time I would start then turn off my car the door locks and trunk release would work for about 10 min then my Advanced Key Fob would stop working. I installed the bypass for my door locks and my problems went away. Now it works perfect every time.

This is the bypass I used for my door locks.

Yes, its the same. You will need to flash one bypass with the TB firmware and the other bypass with the DL firmware.

Well everybody has their flavor.

I would of got a BRZ limited.

Regardless goob job
Believe it or not I learned a lot by doing this Mod. It help me learn where everthing is located inside the car. My friend has an M/T FRS and it would not start. I looked and seen his clutch switch plug was cracked and came loose. I had it fixed in less than 5 min. Saved him a trip to the dealer and some cash.

Deffinatly learned me a lot too!!!
Trust me!

Is there anyway to bypass or unplug the factory alarm system? I believe the factory alarm system is arming the car after the door has been shut for 10 mins. Could I be right? Doesn't hurt to try/ experiment. Lol

The clutch bypass switch is located above the kick panel to the right. The second switch up.

You are exaclty right about the factory alarm system is arming the car after the door has been shut for 10 mins. Your FRS CPU is looking for the right encrypted code from the key fob you are using to let it know its OK to open the doors. Unless your Neo you will not brake the code. All new Subarus and the FRS need the 2nd bypasses to klone the encrypted code and send the code through the viper to open door / unlock door . You did the Viper install correctly. Get the 2nd bypass, flash the door lock firmware hook it up to your Viper 5704 and you good to go.

As far as disabling the OEM secruity feature you would need to ask the dealer to do this. I dont know if they can even do this or solve your problem.

If you go to the Subaru dealership and ask for that Push start button and it's panel that comes with it... can you swap that button for the TRD push button?

50.00 for the bypass. 40.00 for the cable to flash the module. Go to your local alarm shop and they can flash it for about 10 bucks
